Medicine and the Movement: The Story of Dr. Escous B. Goode of Alabama is a feature-length documentary about one of Alabama’s earliest and most successful African-American physicians, who became a nationally recognized leader of the civil rights movement and the first African American to run for public office in Alabama since Reconstruction.
The documentary is produced by the Mobile Medical Museum, a privately supported and operated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Mobile, Alabama.
